As a One Spirit Interfaith Minister, I’m a Solemniser of Marriages registered to legally marry couples (without the need for a separate civil ceremony) from “all faith paths and none” – meaning that I can create for you a ceremony that is wide ranging and authentic to your beliefs whether they be religious, spiritual, undefined or humanist etc………., without the restrictions placed on some other types of legal ceremonies.
Most importantly, I craft for you a ceremony reflecting your individual personalities and highlights your unique relationship; this can be humorous, romantic, relaxed, quirky, geek-chic, themed, or unassuming: it’s all about what is right for you. I would like to add that I have on many occasions walked the balancing act between keeping the ceremony real for the couple whilst at the same time honouring the beliefs and sensibilities of their parents. As a minister, what also sets me apart from celebrants is that I’m not just there for the ceremony; I am there for you throughout the process of becoming married offering assistance and support and, where required, spiritual counselling and accompaniment. I am used to dealing with some of the more sensitive issues and dynamics associated with contemporary family life, without losing the fun and sense of romance of the occasion.
